3 Turkish diplomats shot dead in Iraq

Some unidentified gunmen open fire at a restaurant in Erbil in which three Turkish diplomats died.

Baghdad: At least three Turkish diplomats were shot dead by unidentified gunmen on Wednesday in the Iraqi city of Erbil, media reported.

Unidentified gunmen opened fire at a restaurant where the diplomats were dinning, sources said.

Authorities have locked down the area of the crime scene, media reported.
