US secretary of state Mike Pompeo left on a tour to Middle East. He is accompanied by his wife. He will take part in the third US-Kuwait Strategic Dialogue during his visit to Middle East.

Kansas City: The US secretary of state departed for the Middle East on Monday, on a tour which will take him to Kuwait, Israel and Lebanon.

Mike Pompeo and his wife, Susan, boarded a plane at Kansas City, Missouri, for Kuwait City, where the secretary will take part in the third US-Kuwait Strategic Dialogue.

He is also due to hold separate talks with Kuwaiti leaders on a range of regional issues.
