Maryland: Two people were dead and eight firefighters were injured in a multi-alarm blaze in which four houses collapsed, said authorities in Maryland.
The victims couldn't be immediately identified.

North Beach Volunteer Fire Department's Deputy Chief Stephen Stanton said that firefighters arriving on the scene encountered a large fire and requested a second alarm.
Stanton said that the first crew on the scene were attempting to rescue two people trapped inside a town house before it collapsed on them.
Three of the eight injured firefighters were taken to local hospitals for burn treatments while the other five were treated for heat exhaustion.
