Washington (USA): Police and protesters scuffled at Washington DC's BLM Plaza as they waited for results of the US presidential elections.
Several hundred protesters had carried signs, chanted and danced to music as they waited for the vote tally to be counted.
Police officers used bicycles to block some protesters.
Protesters gathered at BLM Plaza and unfurled two large protest banners on Tuesday evening as they waited for results of the 2020 presidential election.
One of the large black banners, with white lettering, read "remove Trump", and the other "Trump lies all the time."
President Donald Trump is spending election night just a block away from the protesters in the White House. He is watching votes come in in the residence with a few close aides.

More than 100 family, friends, donors and staff were set to watch returns from the White House East Room. Most campaign leadership were monitoring returns from a "war room" set up in the Eisenhower Executive Office building.
Extra fencing was installed for added security around the White House grounds in recent days.
