New York: Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif lashed out at the US for continuing economic sanctions against his country, even after a nuclear watchdog group said Iran was complying with the Iran nuclear deal.
Zarif made the comments in front of the United Nations General Assembly at an International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace event in New York on Wednesday.
He criticized the US for not complying with International Criminal Court orders that limit sanctions on Iran; and for the Trump administration earlier this month designating Iran's Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization.

The Revolutionary Guard is separate from Iran's standing military and runs its own intelligence operations.
Iran responded by designating the US military's Central Command as a terrorist organization.
