Washington: US President Donald Trump is going to visit India on February 24 and 25. Trump along with the First Lady of the United States Melania Trump will explore India and attend a meeting at the US embassy.
Ahead his visit here's the tentative schedule:
February 24:
- President Donald Trump will arrive at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad and attend the 22 km roadshow where 50,000 people lined up on the streets to welcome him.
- After the roadshow, both the leaders will take part in the 'Namaste Trump' event which will be held at the Motera stadium.
- Later the two leaders are will visit the Sabarmati Ashram where they'll spend 30 minutes. During his visit, he will receive a memento consisting of a spinning wheel and a book on Mahatma Gandhi's life.
- The couple will visit Agra where they will spend an hour.

February 25:
- President Donald Trump will receive a ceremonial welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
- Rajghat will be the next stop where they would pay homage at the 'samadhi' of Mahatma Gandhi followed by lunch at Hyderabad House.
- Trump will attend some private events including a roundtable with industry representatives at the US embassy.
- At the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Indian President Ram Nath Kovind will do the honours to host a banquet for Trump. After that President Trump will depart from India.
