Hyderabad: The annual Cannes Film Festival, which screens new films of all genres, including documentaries from around the globe, is held in France. The 76th Cannes Film Festival will be held at Cannes' Palais des Festivals et des Congrès from May 16 to May 27. On the Cannes red carpet, famous people from around the world's entertainment industry gather. The jury president for this year will be Ruben Stlund.

Four Indian films will be screened at the Cannes International Film Festival this year. Kanu Behl's Agra, Anurag Kashyap's Kennedy, and Nehemich will be screened during the Festival de Cannes' Directors' Fortnight, Midnight Screenings, and La Cinef sections, respectively, according to information provided by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Ishanhou, a restored Manipuri movie, will also be featured in the Classics section.

Actor and former Miss World Manushi Chhillar will represent India on the Cannes red carpet along with actors Esha Gupta and Kangabam Tomba. Oscar winner Guneet Monga and Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L Murugan will also be walking the prestigious red carpet this time. Kumar Sanu's daughter Shannon K will also be present at the occasion. Anushka Sharma, an actor, will make her red carpet debut at Cannes in 2023.

Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan will also attend Cannes and make her red carpet debut. Nagaland will be represented at Cannes 2023 by Andrea Kevichusa, who made her Bollywood debut in Anek with Ayushmann Khurrana. Veteran filmmaker Kivini Shohe will accompany her. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who has been to Cannes numerous times, will also be there, followed by Aditi Rao Hydari. This year, Dolly Singh, a social media influencer and content creator, will also debut at Cannes. She took to Instagram to share the news with her fans.
