Haryana: Congress MLA Kuldeep Sharma on Thurday blamed BJP government for harming the relations between businessmen and farmers.
Taking a dig at BJP government, Kuldeep Sharma said that because of demonetisation and GST, traders and farmers had to face many difficulties.
The concept of digitilisation has also ruined both professional and social relations between businessmen and farmers.
He questioned the government if the Minimum Support Price of the crop is set at Rs 42 then why it is sold at Rs 34 and about the non-implementation of the Swaminathan Aayog report.
He pointed out that the government's promise to double the income of the farmers has also failed and the use of chemical products has made farming more expensive.
Kuldeep also criticised BJP for not adequately taking up the issues of unemployment, poverty, agriculture and women empowerment in the policymaking.
Haryana Lok Sabha polls will be held on May 12.
