Jaipur: A youth died after his Bluetooth earphone exploded in his ear in Chaumu town of Jaipur on Friday. The victim, identified as Rakesh Nagar is a resident of the Udaipuria village of the Chaumu town, was grievously injured in the incident. He was rushed to the Siddhivinayak Hospital in the city for further treatment.

However, Rakesh Nagar succumbed during the treatment. The doctors have handed over the body to the family.
Dr LN Rundla of Siddhivinayak Hospital said that Rakesh was talking with Bluetooth earphone, which exploded. After the explosion, Rakesh collapsed and became unconscious. He further added that Rakesh may have suffered a cardiac arrest and could be the main reason for his demise.
According to Dr Rundal, this is possibly the first such incident in the country.
