Khagaria (Bihar): A banking error in the Khagaria district of Bihar led to a credit of Rs. 5,50,000 in the account holder of a Grameen Bank. Following the incident, the account holder refused to return the money, citing that PM Modi has sent this money to him. Later, based on the complaint of the bank manager, the person has been arrested and sent to jail.
It is being reported that due to the mistake of Grameen Bank officials, Rs 5.5 lakhs went into the account of Ranjit Ram, a resident of Bakhtiyarpur. When the bankers realised the mistake, they contacted Ranjit Das and asked him to return the money. However, Ranjit refused to return it. He said that PM Modi has deposited this money into his account and he is not obliged to return it.

Not only this, Ranjit Ram fraudulently spent all the money by withdrawing it from the account. When the bank came to know that the money had been withdrawn from the account, they registered a fraud case against Ranjit Ram at Mansi police station. Based on which Mansi police station arrested Ranjit Ram.
