Thrissur (Kerala): Anlit and Anlin, twin sisters from Koorkkanchery in Thrissur district of Kerala, were thrilled to receive a letter from Buckingham Palace in Britain.
The siblings pursuing their 6th grade in Christ Vidyanikethan School, Irinjalakuda, received a reply to the letter they had sent to Queen Elizabeth II on March 8, inviting the Queen to visit the 'God's Own Country' and had even expressed their wish to visit London.

Along with the letter, the duo had enclosed their paintings of Thrissur Pooram and Alappuzha backwaters.
Now much to their surprise, Anlit and Anlin, received a Royal Post comprising of a Windsor Castle letterhead from the British monarch.
In her reply, Queen Elizabeth II thanked both the children for their 'neatly written letters' and 'splendid pictures' and appreciated them for their kind thought.

It further read, "Although unable to do as you ask, the Queen hopes you are keeping safe and well given the current pandemic situation, and that 2021 will be a happier year for all of us.”
Anlin and Anlit, are the children of Santhosh and Melfy from Kakkassery, Koorkkanchery in Thrissur. Both the children have also received many prizes for their drawings and paintings.
