Sangrur: An eight-day-old baby girl was tested positive for coronavirus in Punjab's Sangrur, though the infant's mother has not been infected, a doctor said on Monday.
The baby girl is undergoing treatment at an isolation center in Ghawada.
Reportedly, an ASHA worker, who was later found corona positive, had helped the woman deliver her baby.
Dr. Baljit Singh, SMO of Sangrur said that the condition of the girl child is stable.
