Speaking to ETV Bharat about the alliances, Kavita said, "Few parties which were not committed to fight BJP have switched over. It is unfortunate that left has not been prioritised even on the seats where our party is more likely to win than anyone else and it is much more committed to the value of fight with fashionism."

"We are contesting only in five seats and since RJD is leaving one seat for us. If that seat is Ara, we are willing to leave Pataliputra seat in exchange for that as a goodwill gesture," she added.

The Begusarai seat is the most eye catching seat as the former JNU student union president Kanhaiya Kumar is taking on senior BJP leader Giriraj Singh. Kanhaiya's win would definitely a big boost for democracy, Kavita said.

She also stated that their party is supporting all the anti-BJP parties in other seats.

CPI ML leader and women's activist Kavita Krishnan has said that the so called United opposition in Bihar is not providing and ideological shift from the ruling Narendra Modi government, speaking to ETV Bharat on why the left could not align itself with opposition parties like RJD, Krishnan said " it is said that a United opposition cannot be formed in Bihar and it seems like the opposition parties have not learnt from the previous mistakes. However as as it is being said that our receipt might be left by the RJD comma we are willing to reduce one of our States for them. Raju Yadav the candidate from Ara has worked on the ground level and is an emerging student leader and we have really high hopes from him. He has worked as an Aisa worker for many years and knows the ground reality of of politics".
The most eye catching battle this time though would be at the Begusarai seat where the former JNU student union president Kanhaiya Kumar is taking on senior BJP leader Giriraj Singh.
"Kanhaiya Kumar fashion history of walking for the students in JNU as well and his victory would be a moral boost for democracy in this country. The Modi media tried its best to defame Kanhaiya Kumar when he was emerging as a leader but this time I am sure that he will emerge victorious from Begusarai and that would be a slap on the faces of all those who were questioning him and calling him anti national".
On Left's opposition to PM Modi announcing DRDO's ASAT, Krishnan said " the left opposite PM Modi's attempt of trying to take credit for achievement of our scientist. Experts say that we have had similar capacities and capabilities for last 7 years then why only just before the election the PM feels the need to announce this".
