Unnao: Owner must have personal reason to grease number plate says Finance company

The company who financed the truck involved in the accident in Unnao case has revealed that the owner has already cleared the instalments and must have personal reasons to grease the number plate.

Unnao (Uttar Pradesh): The UP police on Friday, finally tracked down the company which had financed the truck involved in the Unnao accident case.

The truck was financed by a Japanese company ORIX Leasing and Financial Services India Limited and claimed that no dues have been pending for this month.

Earlier, the truck owner said that the number plate of the truck was blackened by the Grease (Lubricant used for engine oil), as he was afraid of the finance company for not paying the instalment of the truck.

Meanwhile, finance company Collection Manager Sashi Kumar said: "Devendra Yadav (Owner) is a valued customer of the company. Devendra has financed three trucks in the last 6 years. There must be some personal reason of the owner behind the greasing of number plate."

He further added that the finance company never tortures their customers for paying the instalments, rather they help the owners if they are facing financial issues.
