Sharpshooter Sunil Bhati of Randeep Bhati gang arrested in UP

A reward carrying sharpshooter Sunil Bhati alias Ropy was arrested for allegedly killing his associate and dumping his body a few kilometres away from his house in Uttar Pradesh. Other than Roby, four other members were also arrested by the UP police.

New Delhi: An alleged sharpshooter of the Randeep Bhati gang was arrested on Sunday for allegedly killing his associate in Dadri area of ​​Uttar Pradesh.

Police said on Monday that the arrest of Dadri resident Sunil Bhati alias Ropi was a reward of Rs 25000.

In this regard, a senior police officer said that Ropi, along with four other accused, had killed his gang member Dharmendra on the night of January 4 and threw his dead body a few kilometers away from home.

Police said Dharmendra had distanced himself from the gang, for some time now. Four other accused have already been arrested by the police.

Sharp shooter of Randeep Bhati gang arrested
         New Delhi, May 20 (PTI) An alleged sharp shooter of Randeep Bhati gang was arrested on Sunday for allegedly killing his associate in Uttar Pradesh's Dadri area, police said.
         28-year-old Sunil Bhati alias Ropy, a resident of Dadri, was carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 on his arrest, they said Monday.
          Earlier, on the intervening night of January 4 and 5, Ropy along with four other accused had allegedly shot dead his gang-member Dharmendra and dumped his body few kilometres away from his house, a senior police official said.
         Dharmendra had distanced himself from the gang for quite some time, police said.
         "Acting on a tip-off, Ropy, the main accused, was arrested on Sunday from near Hasan Pur Depot bus stand in Madhu Vihar when he came there to meet his associate," Ram Gopal Naik, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), said.
         Four accused persons Vivek Singh, Gyanendra Singh, Bhagat Singh and Gaurav Singh were already under arrest, the DCP said. PTI NIT
