Bengaluru (Karnataka): Police Head Constable S Kumaraswamy travelled on a bike from Bengaluru to Dharwad, covering 430 km, to get life-saving medicines for a cancer patient.
A cancer patient from Manikanta Nagar of Dharwad had approached the constable telling him he wasn't getting the medicine online and that he used to get it from a medical shop at Indranagar in Bengaluru.
The delivery was stopped due to lockdown. Thus, constable Kumaraswamy set out on his bike to the medical shop in Indranagar and got the medicine for the patient and later handed it over to the patient residing at Dharwad.
