Nelamangala (Bengaluru): The owner of a restaurant in Bengaluru allegedly assaulted an employee and later forced him to drink urine earlier this week, according to reports.

The incident happened at J Kitchen on Acharya College Road when the hotel's 46-year-old chef Saji asked for his salary. He was taken to Sapthagiri hospital for treatment.

GG Yuhan, a native of Kerala who owns J Kitchen Hotels had appointed Saji two years ago.

He was paying three thousand rupees and meals and lodging to Saji. At first, the chef and the owner had a good relationship, but after the lockdown, they reportedly quarrelled over non-payment of salary.
