Bareilly: Nine people including three women were arrested after police busted a sex racket in a Gandhipuram house under Prem Nagar police station limits on Sunday evening, officials said. Among those held were also a couple who operated the racket in a rented house, police said, adding that the flesh trade was also being run online.
Police raided the place based on the inputs received by reliable sources. The sex racket business is being run in his house in Gandhipuram for the last five months. Soon after getting the news Premnagar CO Pratham along with some other personnel swung into action.
During the raid, police found three women and five men in compromising positions in different rooms. Some objectionable items, eight mobile phones and Rs 3,600 cash were recovered from the spot.

In the course of investigation, police found that the accused Atul Gupta along with his wife were manning prostitution racket for the last five months from a rented house. The accused in their confession told police that call girls visited the place daily along with new customers.
All those arrested are Bareilly residents. Superintendent of Police (Rural) Ravindra Kumar said that a case will be registered against all under relevant sections and they will be sent to jail.
