Hyderabad: Rajeev Kumar, Finance Secretary (FS) on Saturday completed his tenure and is serving his last day at the Ministry of Finance.
In a tweet on 28th February he said,"I superannuate after a civil servant (always conscious of being civil & servant of public)38 yrs journey of scarcity to surplus, despair to aspirations; informed & transparent society, fair elections led democracy, social equity taking deep roots."

In July, 2019, he succeeded Subhash Chandra Garg to become the Finance Secretary.
He took to twitter saying that this would be his last tweet as the FS & Secy Department of Financial Services (DFS).

Uttar Pradesh cadre IAS officer Debashish Panda will replace Rajeev Kumar as Secretary in the Department of Financial Services (DFS).
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved Panda’s appointment on February 13.
At present, Panda is working as an Additional Secretary in the DFS and looks after financial inclusion aspect.
