Hyderabad: A team from Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) will visit every district headquarter of Telangana to clarify doubts, problems regarding GST. Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced on Sunday.
The Minister was addressing a gathering of industry representatives and trade here.
Lot of concerns and doubts were raised regarding GST during the interactive session. Replying to which Sitharaman said "Quite a few concerns on GST. I would want CBIC chairman Seshagiri Rao and his entire team, not just in Hyderabad but he would go to every district head quarters and explain."
"This team will Clarify fundamentals on GST. They will approach people and explain, clarify, address problems. I don't want any doubts on GST." She addded.
Sitharaman also asked the officials to report the progress back to her.

Sitharaman also said that from April 1, a "simplified regime" will begin, also to ease the technical glitches if any.
"I don't want any more doubts on GST. 1st of April onwards we are bringing a simplified compliance regime for the GST and that has already been final-tested. So GST glitches because of the system will be completely addressed," she added.
Finance Minister also said that the 2020-21 union budget was prepared keeping the FRBM (Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management)in mind even as she maintained she would be remembered for presenting the "longest prepared budget" than for "longest speech" on it.
