Finance Minister holds meeting with MSME sector

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is heading a meeting with the representatives of the MSME sector.

Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman chairs a meeting with the representatives of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. Union Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Nitin Gadkari is also present.

Getting into action mode to avert a further slowdown in key sectors, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the government will meet representatives from various sectors of the economy facing the heat of sluggish demand and consumption for preparing a policy response incorporating their inputs.

Sitharaman will meet representatives of the auto sector on Wednesday, and those from industry on Thursday.
