PM Modi to launch pension scheme for unorganised sector tomorrow

PM Narendra Modi will launch PM-SYM scheme tomorrow to benefit people earning below Rs 15000 and lie in the age group of 18-40 years.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ahemdabad tommorrow to launch Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan Dhan Yojna. PM-SYM is a pension scheme for the unorganized sector which was announced during the interim budget this year in Februrary by Piyush Goyal.

The scheme is supposed to benefit people who do not earn more than Rs 15,000 and lie in the age group of 18-40 years. The contribution is divided according to the age groups and the government would contribute the same amount as the pensioner or 50% of the amount to be contributed. Though it was launched on 16th February by Piyush Goyal yet PM Modi is organising an event again to launch it and address it.

Chief Minister of Gujrat, Vijay Rupani, Governor 9f Gujrat, Om Prakash Kohli, Union minister for Labour And Employement, Santosh Gangwar, Deputy chief minister of Gujrat, Nitinbhai Patel and Dilipkumar Viraji Thakor, minister in Government of Gujarat are supposed to attend the event.
