More Tejas type trains for connecting tourist places: FM

The Indian Railways aims to bring more Tejas like trains between major tourist destinations, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said during her budget speech today. She also said that more high-speed trains like the one between Mumbai and Ahmedabad will be actively pursued.

New Delhi: The Indian Railways will set up a Kisan Rail through public-private partnership model, said Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday.
