Despite slowdown, Hyderabad to host Indiasoft 2020

INDIASOFT 2020 will be held in Hyderabad on 3-4 March 2020. Nalin Kohli, Chairman, INDIASOFT said that the IoT show will be the game changer for India since it would signal the nation’s strides in the technology value chain.

Bengaluru: To add value to INDIASOFT, the annual flagship event of Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC), there will be more focus on cutting edge technologies like Internet of Things (IoTs), robotics, automation and artificial intelligence.

A maiden exclusive IOT Expo organized coinciding with INDIASOFT 2020 will be participated by 40 Indian companies, giving a unique dimension to the annual show.

Revealing the upshots of the INDIASOFT 2020 to be held in Hyderabad on 3-4 March 2020 at a press conference in Bengaluru on Tuesday, Nalin Kohli, chairman, INDIASOFT said the IoT show will be the game changer for India since it would signal the nation’s strides in the technology value chain.

“Disruption of technology is the buzzword in the US as they are creating wealth, exports and conveniences to the common man. Amazon, Apple, Huawei, Facebook and Google are perfect examples since their market valuations have crossed the trillion-dollar mark in some of the cases and in others they are about to breach that mark. In India also, that trend would come sooner or later and our effort is to facilitate the proliferation of technology companies in India,” he added.

Keeping in view the high importance accorded to export from the ICT sector by the government, ESC is targeting to make INDIASOFT 2020 as the biggest ever in terms of participation of foreign delegates, which could be upwards of 500 from 60 countries.

Over 250 Indian companies from small, mid-size and start-ups will be displaying their cutting edge products and solutions. “Going by the past rent, businesses worth millions of dollars will be generated at this event. With the added attraction of display of frontier digital technologies for automation, robotics, IOTs etc., this time around we expect more business turnover,” Kohli said.
