Under this program Koppal district of Karnataka will be getting toy manufacturing cluster and Bellary district will be having textile manufacturing cluster.
In this inaugural event Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy said as announced in previous budget 9 districts will be chosen for district specific cluster of industries, which will create 1 lakh jobs in each district which means 9 lakh job opportunities in total and this is the main motive of this scheme he added.

Koppal toys manufacturing clusters and Bellary textile manufacturing cluster was given green Signal. Mangalore port is about 324 kilometer from Koppal district and rail and road ways is good enough to major cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Goa.
Bellary is famous for textile since many decades in view of this 770 acres of land has been assigned for this cluster. And remarkable road connectivity to cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai is available and also rail network is also available from Bellary to major south Indian cities.

- Kalaburgi : Solar panels and allied components manufacturing cluster
- Tumakuru: Sports and fitness goods manufacturing cluster
- Hassan: Tiles, Sanitary ware and bathroom accessories manufacturing cluster
- Bidar: Agriculture implements manufacturing cluster
- Mysuru: Integrated circuit boards and printed circuit boards assembly cluster
- Chitradurga: LED lights manufacturing cluster
- Chikkaballapur: Mobile phone component manufacturing and assembly cluster
Later speaking with ETV Bharat Deputy Chief Minister Dr G Parameshwar said MoUs are being signed like China model we are concentrating on tier 2 and tier 3 cities for setting up of clusters. Single window system has been implemented but requires fine tuning he added.
Later in the event large and medium scale industries minister K J George said 5 industrialists have joined hands to setup I diatribes in Bellary and we are expecting more than 1 lakh jobs to be created.
