Karawar: A Ramayana-like wedding took place in Karnataka's Gokarna on May 19, wherein a 'swayamwar' was organised to choose the groom for a woman.
The wedding was planned exactly like that described in Ramayana, where Ram marries Sita after breaking the 'Shiv Dhanush' at the swayamwar.
The bride, Nisha, finally got married to one Ramadas Kamat, who broke the dhanush.
Many youths came forward to break the bow, but none succeeded.
It was eventually Kamat who broke the bow and got to marry Nisha.
