Haryana: Five of a family killed in road mishap

A road mishap claimed lives of five members of a family in Haryana's Sirsa on Sunday night. Police said that three people died on the spot, while two others succumbed to injuries on their way to hospital.

Chandigarh: Five members of a family were killed in a car and truck collision in Haryana's Sirsa district on Monday.

The victims were identified as Ghanshyam Bansal, his wife Ekta, brother Vikas Bansal and his sister-in-law and niece.

The couple, Ghanshyam and Ekta, had got married just one month back and had left for Fatehabad for a family trip on June 30. They were scheduled to return tomorrow.

Sub-inspector Krishna Lal said that three of them died on the spot, while two others succumbed to injuries on their way to a hospital.

Chandigarh: Five members of a family were killed in an accident between a car and a truck in Haryana's Sirsa district on Monday. 



The victims, identified as Vikas Bansal, his wife and daughter, his brother Ghanshyam and his wife Ekta, were travelling in the car while the accident occurred on Sunday night.





Three of the victims died on the spot, while the two others succumbed to their injuries on the way to a hospital, the police added.
