New Delhi: In a bid to enhance bilateral cooperations, French Deputy Foreign Minister JB Lemoyne became the first leader from his country to visit India after the re-election of the Modi government.
The French Minister of State for Europe and Foreign Affairs confirmed that first Rafale jet will be delivered to India within a few months. JB Lemoyane also confirmed that similarly all other Rafale jets will be delivered to India one by one.
He also confirmed that both leaders will also meet on the sidelines of the G7 summit and several agreements are likely to be signed.
On the issue of terrorism, French Minister said that his country stands with India. He asserted saying 'every single initiative to fight against terrorism is welcomed. In this century, terrorism is a threat to every single country.'
'We must also address issues of cyber security and terror financing,' French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs JB Lemoyane stressed.
