New Delhi: The entire country was eyeing on Bihar's Begusarai Lok Sabha seat where CPI candidate Kanhaiya Kumar lost to BJP's Giriraj Singh in the just-concluded Lok Sabha elections by more than 4 lakh votes.
While commenting on Giriraj's win, the vice-president of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Santosh Ranjan Rai said that people of the constituency know the intention of the Left parties and they have taught a good lesson to them.
He further added that the winning margin has proved Giriraj Singh as the son of Begusarai and he has been elected to strengthen the country.
He called the CPI candidate a traitor and said, "I campaigned with Singh in Begusarai for 2 months and wherever we went people used to call Kanhaiya a con man."
Giriraj Singh got 6, 85, 239 votes, he got more than 56 per cent votes in Begusarai.
