Bhojpur: The Ara-Sasaram local passenger train derailed at Ara station under Bihar's Danapur railway division on Friday morning.
Two compartments, including the engine, got off tracks when the train was leaving the station.
No casualties have been reported.
According to reports, the incident took place due to the driver's negligence.
The driver reportedly did not notice the red signal and started the train following which the first compartments went off-track.
Railway officials rushed to the spot.
The incident has affected the Aara-Sasaram as well as the Howrah-Delhi line.
