Burglar's failed attempt caught on CCTV

A burglar, who allegedly tried to break into a Syndicate bank in Prakasam district, was caught on cam. The whole action was recorded on the CCTV and the police are investigating on the matter. There was a similar incident that occurred in Martur Mandal.

Prakasam (AP): Failed attempt of a burglar, who had attempted a break-in into a Syndicate Bank branch at Idupulapadu of Prakasam district on Monday night, was captured on the CCTV camera.

The bank officials, who had found the locks of the shutter broken, on Tuesday morning, immediately informed the police.

The captured footage showed the robber trying desperately to break the main entrance and was unsuccessful in doing so.

Police further informed that a case has been filed by the bank officials. Chirala DSP U Nagaraju has been assigned to investigate the case and the search team collected the fingerprints and other clues from the location.

Two weeks ago, there was a similar bank robbery in Dronadula village of Martur Mandal. In this case, the burglar broke into the Andhra Pragati Rural Bank but failed to break the cash locker.

Police suspect that two robberies to be identical.
