Vice President inaugurates IndUS Entrepreneur Global summit-2020 virtually

Vice President Venkaiah Naidu while addressing IndUS Entrepreneur Global summit-2020 encouraged youngsters to develop thinking as job creators, not job seekers.

New Delhi: Vice President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu, inaugurated the Ind-US TiE Global summit-2020 which was held today virtually. The International Conference is intended to promote investments in India.

Speaking at the conference, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, who is in Visakhapatnam, suggested that the talented youth should utilize their full potential. He also encouraged the youngsters to develop thinking as job creators, not job seekers.

The Vice President also asked the corporate organizations to provide funds and suggested Universities to set up incubation centres. A special drive should be launched for promoting entrepreneurship among women, he added.

In a recent NASSCOM survey, 50 per cent of the tech start-ups were confident of attaining revenues similar to that of pre-COVID-19 time.

"Entrepreneurship is not only about profits. It is also about making people’s lives better through education, health care and basic human rights. It is about valuing both competition and compassion," he tweeted.

"Today’s youngsters have a chance like no other generation have had in the past. They can create a more prosperous, dynamic and just world," he wrote in another tweet.

The non-profit TIE organization working on the base of Silicon Valley supports startups through networking.
