Lucknow: The political frenzy over the Lakhimpur Kheri incident refuses to end. On Tuesday, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel reached Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow but he was stopped by the police from proceeding further. In protest, he sat down on the ground in the airport itself.
In fact, Bhupesh Baghel wanted to go to Sitapur from Lucknow and meet Priyanka Gandhi. From there. he also had a plan to go to Lakhimpur Kheri. Baghel also shared a video in which he was seen asking the police officers why he is being stopped. He said that he is not going to Lakhimpur Kheri, but has to go to Sitapur to meet Priyanka Gandhi. He asked why he is being stopped when Section 144 has only been imposed in Lakhimpur Kheri.
Before reaching Lucknow, Baghel also shared another video. He tweeted the video claiming that a drone was flying over the room where Priyanka Gandhi was kept. Along with the video, Bhupesh Baghel wrote, 'Who owns this drone above the room of Priyanka Gandhi ji who has been detained for more than 30 hours and why?'
It may be mentioned that the Uttar Pradesh government did not allow Baghel's plane to land in Lucknow Monday. He wanted to go to Lakhimpur Kheri only on Monday. After this, Baghel first went to Delhi and then came to Lucknow from there.
