Rampur (Uttar Pradesh): As the assembly elections are in the offing in Uttar Pardesh and the Ministers are busy wooing the voters, state Jal Shakti Minister Baldev Singh Aulakh had to face the protest of the people in Bilaspur. The minister was made to walk on the muddy road by the people.
The residents blocked the Minister's motorcade and asked him to pass through the muddy road as people were facing lot of issues. The minister was there to attend a program at Primary Health Center.
The people alleged mismanagement on part of the administration as the road was in a dilapidated condition.
At the same time, after this, Aulakh shied away from his responsibilities by blaming the officers.
Addressing a press conference after the incident, Aulkh slammed the officials and said that there are many worthless people in the administration who even after warnings do not work properly.
He also said that from DM to ADM and Mayor, all make efforts for the public work, however, because of the inefficiency of some officers, the work remains incomplete.
