Pratapgarh (Uttar Pradesh): A man was arrested here for allegedly raping and subsequently blackmailing a woman officer in Uttar Pradesh.
The woman officer in her complaint has alleged that the accused, Gurvinder Singh, raped her eight years ago and also made the video of the same and threatened her of leaking the videos online.
The accused has been physically abusing her for eight years. The accused also threatened her that if she does not agree to his demands, he would kill her in the office.
The woman officer who is posted in Lalganj Kotwali Tehsil in her complaint added that while coaching in Delhi in 2012, Guruvinder Singh, resident of Basantpur, Shahjahanpur used to molest her, due to which she started getting sick and would often get unconscious.
Meanwhile, she was unconscious one day in her room in Delhi following which Guruvinder came to her and raped her.
The accused also made pornographic videos and photos of the incident. Fifteen days after the incident, the accused showed her the video and started blackmailing her.
Two years later, in 2015, when she got a job in a bank in Bareilly, she started living there in a rented room, but the accused did not stop pursuing her.

One day Guruvinder reached her room in Bareilly and beat her up and tied her to a chair and made a video and photo of her being physically abused.
The woman officer alleged that Guruvinder Singh bought the SIM in his name and gave it to her and forced her to stay away from her family.
He illegally tried transacting money from her bank account. On not agreeing, Guruvinder sent pornographic photos and videos to her sister's WhatsApp number.
On December 18, the accused along with two of his colleagues reached her residence and forced her to go with him. Seeing all this the driver of the woman officer starting making noises following which the accused fled from the spot.
After all the drama, the woman officer registered the complaint with the police.
Meanwhile, the police is investigating the case.
