Meerut (Uttar Pradesh): The dead bodies of the two minors, who went missing from their homes have been found near the forest of Fatehpur Narayan village in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut on Sunday.
The two minors, 16-year old Alam and 14-year-old Aman, both residents of Shahjahanpur had left their homes for a walk at around 5 pm on Saturday evening. The family grew suspicious when they did not return till late night. They launched a search but could not trace them. They later lodged a missing report with the police.
On Sunday morning, the dead bodies were found in two different fields near the forest of Fatehpur Narayan village located in Kithor police station area.

A pall of gloom descended in the area when the bodies of two minors were found together.
After receiving information about the bodies, CO Kithor Brijesh Singh along with SSP Prabhakar Chaudhary, SP Dehat Keshav Kumar rushed to the spot.
It is being suspected the two were beaten badly and later on murdered with a knife or any sharp weapon.
The forensic team has also reached the spot to gather evidence and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
The police have filed a case and launched an investigation.
