Chennai: Tamil Nadu CBCID police filed a 300-page charge sheet against godman Shiv Shankar Baba and his three associates in Chengalpet magistrate court. He was arrested on the charges of sexually abusing students in his Sushil Hari International Residential School at Kelambakkam.
Baba was booked under POCSO in the sexual harassment case filed by the alumni of the school. He was arrested in Delhi on June 16.
The 72-year-old self-styled godman considered even minor school girls as 'gopikas'. Likening him to be Lord Krishna, he used to hug and kiss them.
Earlier, he was in the real estate business and connections in society helped him receive huge donations and in 2001, he founded the school at Kelambakkam and a multi-specialty hospital as well as a home for the aged.
