Hyderabad: Sena mouthpiece 'Saamna' has fired yet another salvo at the BJP and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for its atrocities against farmers. The Sena stated that the Haryana government be dismissed and President's rule be imposed in the state, terming the incident of farmers being caned as inhumane and brutal, adding that the government in the state have soaked 'Mother India' with the blood of farmers and went on to compare the act to the Taliban in Afghanistan.
On Saturday, around 10 people were injured as police allegedly lathi-charged a group of farmers disrupting traffic movement on a highway while heading towards Karnal to protest against a Bharatiya Janata Party meeting attended by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, state BJP president Om Prakash Dhankar and other leaders.

The right-wing Marathi regionalist and ultranationalist political party also came down heavily on Karnal SDM, Ayush Sinha after an alleged video of the latter had surfaced online instructing policemen to bash the heads of the protesting farmers if they crossed the barricading. "Who is SDM Ayush Sinha? These kinds of officers should not remain in civil service even for a moment. Will the government dismiss him or not?" Sena stated, adding that the Centre has remained a mute spectator to the cries of the farmers who have been protesting in the national capital regardless of the bone-chilling winter and hot summer.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner of Karnal Nishant Kumar Yadav has apologized to the farmers on behalf of SDM. Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Yadav said that SDM was handling a tough situation although the words used by him were inappropriate. He also said that only a tailored part of the video was put out.
