New Delhi: The Supreme Court has dismissed the bail plea of self-styled Godman, Asaram Bapu, who had sought bail on medical grounds, for ayurvedic treatment.
The bench comprising of Justice Indira Bannerjee, Justice V Ramasubramanian and Justice Bela M Trivedi told Asaram Bapu that ayurvedic treatment can be done in jail also and considering the crime he had committed they can't grant him bail.

He is 85 and can't be committing any crime now, said Adv Basant. "Mercy is all that I am asking for," Sr Adv Basant pleaded.
