Dhanbad (Jharkhand): RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat reached Dhanbad on Friday morning Friday on his three-day tour. During this time, he will take stock of the organisation in Jharkhand.
Bhagwat after reaching Dhanbad by Ganga Damodar Express at around 4.50 in the morning, was warmly welcomed by the volunteers, state BJP leaders, and ABVP and Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh activists.
From the station, he directly reached Saraswati Vidya Mandir (Rajkamal) located in Ashok Nagar where he will stay in Rajkamal Vidyalaya for the next three days and attend the program of RSS Jharkhand province organised at Saraswati Vidya Mandir.
The main focus of Bhagwat''s visit is to discuss with activists about spreading RSS to 1,264 mandals and 847 bastis of the state, an official of the organising committee said.
"He holds meetings for organisation extension across the country round the year. During the visit to Dhanbad, he will hold such meetings," he said.
Bhagwat was scheduled to meet 40 pracharak pramukhs of Jharkhand and Bihar around 2pm.

The RSS chief will also take part in many programmes and will also hold a meeting with the Jharkhand-Bihar office bearers of the Sangh.
There is a lot of enthusiasm among the volunteers. It is believed that many big leaders of the Jharkhand BJP can come to Dhanbad to meet the Sangh chief. After this, on the second day, the RSS chief will hold a meeting with the Dhanbad Mahanager RSS shakha chief teachers, shakha karyvah and Milan pramukh.
Sangh chief is on a vigorous nationwide tour these days with an aim to spread works of the Sangh across villages and provinces by 2024.
