Ashwini Vaishnaw checks cleanliness in Delhi railway station, says bullet rain on track

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw reviewed cleanness situation at Delhi Railway station on Friday. He distributed chocolates among the kids on the occasion of 71 birth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said project connecting Baramulla with Jammu through train will be finalised by 2024.

New Delhi: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw who visited Delhi Railway station to take stalk of the cleanliness drive on Friday stated that work is being done expeditiously to connect Kashmir with the Indian railway network.

Taking to ETV Bharat, he added that there are some technical challenges in it, but the engineers are executing the project in the best way. Work to connect Baramulla of Kashmir with Jammu through train has also been progressing and it is expected that the project will be completed before 2024.

Speaking over the current situation of the Bullet train project he said, "it is a dream project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The land has been acquired by the Railways till Vapi in Gujarat. Six pillars have also been finalised. Asia's largest Geotechnical laboratory has also been set up for the project. The project will be finalised soon "

He further added that "Prime Minister has given a target regarding Vande Bharat. 75 trains should connect every part of the country by 15 August 2023."

During his visit to the station, the minister distributed many gifts including automatic wheelchairs for senior citizens and differently abled. Apart from this, he also gave chocolates to kids on the occasion of the 71st birth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
