Thane (Mumbai): Prime Minister Narendra Modi's brother Prahlad Modi has advised the traders to protest for their demands in the right manner and not to pay the GST imposed by Central and State governments until they heed to their demands.
He was invited to an event of the Ulhasnagar Trade Association held in Ulhasnagar.
Prahlad Modi, who is the vice president of the All India Fair Price Shop Association said, "If you raise your demands in the right manner, not only Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, even Prime Minister Narendra Modi will listen to you."

During the event, a trade association leader said, "We have invited Pralhad Modi to convey our demands to the Centre."
"Most of the traders in Ulhasnagar have been charged for violating the rules during the lockdown. Like other states, we also want Maharashtra to withdraw the cases," he added.
