“It has been 20 years since I began teaching. I am very happy that the Prime Minister has appreciated me. We do not have to depend on government alone for the infrastructure of the school," said Dilip. "I brought five laptops for topper students by myself. After that, I set up a smart classroom and many people supported me," he added.
With the help of sponsors, he also gifted his students with dictionaries containing pictures aiding easy understanding. “We introduced virtual reality in our school for teaching purpose. We distributed laptops to students for free. But we needed to teach them how to use those laptops. During the lockdown period, I started a Youtube channel for the 10th graders and through that channel, I taught the lesson to them by posting videos," he added.
"In recognition of my efforts, I received many awards including the Microsoft Award and the National Award for Teaching at a young age. My family members are supportive of my efforts. I shared my experience with other teachers also. I have also spoken in various seminars on how to teach lessons using Information Technology.” he said.
