Tiwari has contended that violent incidents are not uncommon in lower courts and similar violence has also taken place in other places like Amritsar, Barwani, Hisar etc. "A court is a place where people are in the shelter of law but they fall victim in courts of unlawful activities," read the application. He has suggested that dreaded criminals can be produced before the court virtually instead of bringing them physically to avoid threats and large "mob" that enters along with litigants also be denied permission to gather in the court.
He also said more CCTV cameras should be installed in the court. According to Delhi police, two gangsters posed as lawyers shot dead gangster Jitender Mann 'Gogi' on the Rohini court premises on September 24. Police retaliated and shot dead the assailants.
