Bengaluru: Another blast hits the capital city of Bengaluru where many were injured after a boiler exploded in a chemical factory. No death has been reported so far. The explosion has occurred at Lake Chemical Factory located in Attibele Industrial Area in Anekal town of Bengaluru today at noon. The police and fire tenders rushed to the spot and trying to bring the situation under control. The injured were admitted to the hospital.
This is a 33-year-old factory and the boiler has exploded four times so far. People have been urging to evacuate the factory many times. But the authority concerned did not take any action. This is the third fire accident in Bengaluru in a span of one week.
A massive fire broke out in an apartment near Devarachikkanahalli flat on September 21. Two burnt alive and many injured in the incident. Another explosion has occurred at a godown of a Sri Mahakali Amman transport company in Seethapathi Agrahara of Chamarajapet on Thursday, where two died and three were injured.
