NSG conducts anti-terror mock drill in Bhopal

NSG commandos displayed their skills in an anti-terror mock drill in Bhopa, Madhya Pradesh, that was witnessed by state Home Minister Dr Narottam Mishra.

Bhopal: Terrorists suddenly entered Bharat Bhavan and Hamidia Hospital in Bhopal and took employees. On receiving information, National Security Guard (NSG) commandos reached the spot and in no time eliminated the terrorists and freed the hostages.

Actually it was part of an NSG mock drill. State Home Narottam Mishra watched the drill at Bharat Bhavan.

As part of the drill, troops landed on the roof of Hamidia Hospital from a helicopter. The response time of the security agencies was checked during the drill in which over 350 commandos from different cities, including Kolkata and Mumbai, participated.

Describing the drill as wonderful, Home Minister Mishra said that soon security agencies in Madhya Pradesh will also be provided training by setting up a camp. The drill was named Gandiva, the bow of Arjuna in the Mahabharata.
