Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi praises PM Modi's decisive leadership on Afghanistan

Union Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the successful evacuation of Indians and Afghans from Kabul. The PM is the sole person responsible for safe return of the civilians and three copies of Guru Granth Sahib.

New Delhi: Union Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the successful evacuation of Indians and Afghans from Kabul. He has praised the PM for safely bringing the civilians along with three copies of Guru Granth Sahib.

Speaking to Anamika Ratna of ETV Bharat, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that it is because of the strong leadership of Narendra Modi that Indians trapped in Afghanistan are being safely evacuated to India along with the holy Guru Granth Sahib of the Sikh community.

It has been possible only because of efficient leadership, India's strong foreign policy of human values. Today, India can bring back Indians stranded in difficult situations in foreign countries.

He further said that the country also remembers that Indians who were stuck in different countries during Covid-19, how they were brought back to their homeland only because of the foreign policy of Narendra Modi's government. The government has been working on human values. The cabinet minister said that not only Indians are being brought back from Afghanistan but also Afghanistan nationals who want to leave the country. "The Indian government is helping Afghanistan nationals as well by bringing them here," he said.

Replying to a question on Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), the cabinet minister said that there is one evil gang in our country that is spreading confusion among the people about CAA. They are exposed today and should apologise to the country. Today people of Sikh, Muslims are coming from Afghanistan. This evil gang were saying that the 'No Entry' board will be put up in the country for the Muslims. These people should apologise to the country.

Commenting on the all-party meeting called by the PM on Afghanistan, Cabinet Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that even though the opposition has been repeatedly asking questions, the government works according to its policy and it does not give any answer by printing posters. When the time comes, the government responds and the time has come for an all-party meeting.
