Ghaziabad: A group of miscreants entered an ancient temple at Dasna in Ghaziabad, and attacked a religious person sleeping there with a knife. The victim, Nareshanand, who had came from Bihar and was staying there, has been admitted to hospital in a bleeding condition.
This is the same Dasna Devi temple whose priest Narsimhanand Saraswati had received death threats. A terrorist caught in Delhi had revealed that there was a conspiracy to go to the temple and carry out a major attack. However, this particular incident is being linked to some enmity.

Saraswati has been mired in a number of controversies because of his statements. In the month of June, two suspects who had entered the temple in the temple were handed over to the police. It came to light that both the accused arrested at that time were involved in a religious conversion racket. Investigation into this matter is still going on.
Saraswati has given a number of statements saying that he may be attacked. In the early hours of this morning, the group of miscreants entered the temple and attacked Nareshanand who was sleeping here. People associated with the temple are now living in a state of fear.
Temple spokesperson Anil Yadav said that the life of Saraswati is in danger and the police have already been informed. He said that the condition of Nareshanand remained critical. Yadav has demanded the arrest of the accused at the earliest.
