New Delhi: BJP MP from Jharkhand's Ranchi Sanjay Seth on Tuesday informed that he met Union Industries Minister Prakash Javadekar demanding the appointment of a permanent CMD in Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited (HEC). In an exclusive interaction with ETV Bharat, Seth said that he held a detailed discussion over the present status of HEC with the minister and also apprised him of the problems of the Public Sector Undertaking.
He apprised the minister that the HEC workers have not received their salaries for five months and demanded new machinery for better functioning. Taking note of the issues, Javadekar said that the Centre is highly concerned about HEC. He also assured Seth that soon a permanent CMD will be appointed in the organisation as well as salary issues of the workers will also be resolved.
