Congress has also demanded the resignation of Jyotiraditya's pro-transport minister Govind Singh Rajput. At the same time, the opposition has also criticized the suspension of PWD executive engineer in the circuit house of Sidhi where the Chief Minister suffered mosquito bites.

Shivraj is running circus, not government

Jitu Patwari alleged that one year has been completed for the Shivraj government, but so far the government has not been able to give the ministers the charge of the districts. If the ministers had the charge, the transport systems would not have been in such a bad state.

He said that this traumatic incident has happened due to negligence and so the government should register a case of culpable homicide in this case. Taking a dig at the government, he added that during the CM's stay an employee was suspended as a mosquito-bit the chief minister, but responsibility has not yet been decided yet on such a big incident referring to the bus accident.

"It seems Shivraj Singh Chauhan is running the circus, not the government," Patwari said.

Congress raise questions regarding Sidhi incident

Former minister Jeetu Patwari has questioned the government about the incident-

  • When a 35 seater bus is allowed to run for only 70 km, then how was the bus in question going at 135 km?
  • Why was there a traffic jam on a straight road, and then why was it not cleared?
  • In the event in which more than 50 people lost their lives, why the government could not decide the responsibility in such a case so far?
  • When the government provides financial assistance of four lakhs for the accidents, then why give only 5 lakh rupees for this particular incident?

Engineer suspend

CM Shivraj who visited the accident site was resting at the Circuit House in the district during the night, during which due to a lack of cleanliness there were mosquitoes. Information about the stay of the CM and the responsibility to make necessary arrangements were given to PWD executive engineer Babulal Gupta.
